Ideas for dog dads

We love the peace of mind of having an AirTag on our pup at all times, but it’s hard to find a holder that won’t fall off.  With this great design from TagVault you can be sure your AirTag will stay attached to the collar.  Find it here: https://amzn.to/44J3jBG

This dog tie out will make your outdoor trips easier with your pup, and is low profile enough that you won’t be tripping over it in the night!  The tangle-free design can rotate 360 degrees and can even be used for 2 dogs at once.  Check it out here: https://amzn.to/4bzFn5U

Making walking your dog easier with this hands free leash.  When we’re backpacking this around the waist leash lets us have our hands free to hold our trekking poles, water bottle, etc. and know that our pup will still be safe.  Find our favorite one here (and now it also includes a pouch for your keys and phone): https://amzn.to/3QQLavV

Gadgets dad will love

Cooking meat is so easy with our favorite immersion circulator.  Make any cut perfect and tender with the sous vide method that used to be tough to achieve at home.  Sometimes we even take ours in the camper – cook a challenging or tough cut of beef as tender as the perfect steak with a long, low maintenance and low temperature cooking time, then sear it over the fire or in a skillet for caramelization.  You’ll also never have overcooked chicken breast when you use this method.  (It’s actually the only way our kids like to eat white meat chicken these days, and we don’t mind.)  Get yours here: https://amzn.to/3V5SfeT

Portable chargers have become a must on all of our packing lists.  They’re lightweight and versatile these days.  Check out these two with different features that we think highly of: https://amzn.to/4arvfuY (with built-in cable) and https://amzn.to/3wM2Xxu (solar)

Our last recommendation, the Bubba Cordless Fillet Knife, will be dad’s go-to for everything from the mess of crappie he catches to the Thanksgiving turkey.  Although we don’t get it out often, when we do we’re always really glad to have it.  Find our favorite electric fillet knife on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/3V4R2UW
